Briefing:
Background:
After Bond left the bunker he ventured out into the cold air of Northern Russia. To Top Secret Snow Base where KAIENTAI held there most Deadly weapon the Nitrus Exterminator.
M Brief:
You must Destroy that Weapon Bond it is more advanced than anything we have seen yet.
It was built personnely by TAKA. He is Warning the whole of the USA that his weapon has the power to sink them, with one blast. As well as destroying the weapon he may have some mainframes with backup data they must also be destroyed.
Q Brief:
Two simple gadgets for you Bond my Bomb Defuser will have a negative effect on this new weapon of his just use it on a computer nearby and watch his weapon target itself. As for Taka's Backup Mainframes they should in a safe area so we cannot get to them, however plant this bug on the controlling computer to fry the mainframes for another explosive ending.
Moneypenny:
Nitros are dangerous around Fire be careful Bond.

a). Destroy the Nitrus Exterminator
b). Destroy N.E Backup data
c). Photograph Kaientai Sattelites

Description:
After escaping with the required evidence from Conksters Control Bunker Bond stumbled opon Kaientai's Nitro Weapon base. It is essential that you take out the Nitrus Exterminator because based on its power readings we have no idea what it could do. As well as escaping from Petropavlovsk Kam after destroying any chance of Taka rebuilding his deadly weapon. The question is what possible escape could you make aerial perhaps. Plus it is highly likely that Taka knows you are here by now.

Known Issues:
1). Some of the guards are able to shoot and harm you from long distances with snipers.
2). Some of the respawning guards run to presets you would not need to go to so it is possible for the player to avoid some of them.
3). There is quite a bit of body armour but the good ones are hidden well.
4). The guard walking on path 00 if killed respawns seconds after you look away to start the path over again.
5). i could not give a use for the helicoptor due to technical issues (which if you open the setup file and look through the action blocks you will see why)

Update no next Level; Te level nowdoes not freeze at certain points it has ben cleared up and it is The Countdown to its release the 7th part comes soon...???

Freddy: You can change the speed the door opens in the object editor just click on doors and the number of the door you want to edit and change the speed. Jaws: That is done by asking bond to jump to a 04XX Action Block in the end scene 05F8040C JAL To Function (Bond [self]) (JAL TO: 040C) and in the block which he jumps to simply put in that you want him to jog to a preset. #5665: Is your rom the correct settings and is it 12MB or 16MB also take a look at one of Dragonsbretherens Read_me files which contain info on the correct rom settings.Also is your rom unflipped or flipped?

I have a problem with loading the ROM. Whenever I apply an IPS patch to my ROM and make a new rom, it is blank and i can't play the level

Jaws: Do you want to knoww how to move Bond for the end scene or how to get him to move during the end scene or simply or to start an end scene? aguy:I have never put anything onto console yet so i do not know how it works i understand however that there is no codes for PAL versions to change the text of he briefing that is only possible with a Gameshark NTSC which level whereyou playing was i one here or one of your own because that could also be the problem.

I am unsure as i have very little experience with using the animation block bt i tend to put the numbers that represent the end point in as FFFF that is all i generally know about it

The animation block numbers stand for when the animation and starts plus chosing its end point the last four numbers are for the control byte

You need to do delays, such as counter loops, in between action calls, don't keep repeating same call

A lot of work goes into everything these guys and myself do. I just kind off started out fast :) but after the KAIENTAI Archives is finished i am going to start training a friend of mine to use the setup editor. So there could even be a joint project from us. As soon as he catches on about action blocks but he should catch on just as fast as i did ;)

No release date is being given on the Kaientai archives. I guess i could say it is quite a bit longer and harder depending on how you play and what difficulty it is.This level has been worked on for 7 months on and off it finally has its story and design implemented but am still testing a few other things. Perfection is impossible but i am going to come as close to perfection as possible ;)

1st. I have already started and nearly finished Part 7 so the chance to offer an idea for part 7 ended a while back think about Part 8. 2nd. I would have loved to include the island into my mission but unfortunately i am unable to add edited clipping files to the Rom. 3rd. This is not the last one the full story has yet to unfold ;)

ok first, i enjoy your work. the levels have plot and arent just random missions. now...as requested, i have a suggestion for you next one. end the hunt at the dam. theres a couple reasons, it started on the dam, and the reason i like...we can get to the island, sure, but we want it as an objective right guys? put the final showdown on the island and if possible, make us snipe that big gun b4 it murks us. have him waiting in the tower. all of this after dealing with a slew of guards, some with grenade launchers. hey, its the final one, make us work for it :P

Yeah it should be ready at a random date in february i am still looking for ways to make it better. Improve the Action Blocks which are finished but there could be more added. More objects and things like that =)

Oh hey you replied quickly and i read a readme from Dragonsbrethren because his games always lag on my pc and it says what settings to change an it fixes the lag and dosn't crash and im looking forward to your next mission =).

The problem with it lagging is either sometimes emulators do that plus there are a lot of counters being run so that could be the cause. The other thing is that your computer is slow at running goldeneye so modified maps run slow trust me sometimes my maps crash on me for no reason then next time they work fine it can be pretty random and annoying.

Hey I'm new to this Goldeneye modding thing and ive really enjoyed your work,this level was interesting that you could make objects interact with others and its fun,its good that on higher difficulties you can do more things but for some reason my game crashes and lags could you help?

Thats why all i have is ideas. I am thinking maybe Archives or Control. More likely archives because that was the first mission i ever started The Kaientai archives it may be time to Rise it from its dormant state.

The Car was from Conksters Bunker it was bombed by Taka as an attempt to kill you it was a trap XD.

Try running from the guards following you once a get a certain distance from them they are eliminated and respawned at there start point to avoid guards getting lost.

Yes i have quite a few useful pieces of armour in quite good hiding places. I know about that alarm it should turn off however if the door is closed and only then. The helicoptor ESCAPE what are you talking about escape, Wait for the end scene then we will see who is escaping HA HA HAAA!

Ahh... I Finally beat your level.. This was by far one of the hardest custom levels i've played. (because of the bugs). Here's some proof... Details: the thing exploding at beginning is a car.. (WTF?!). You can find a PP7. You removed the satellite dish from the place. The mainframes are protected by glass. Opening the bunker door causes custom alarm to go off. Btw, for some reason, there is always a guy that follows me behind. then when i turn around i get killed by some other guy.

That is because most of the guards run to that spot before running to bond so most of them are around there and the cabin with the backup data is where the snipers start. The ammo pickup for the pp7 is a lot as i remember it gives you over 8o bullets. Yes for the next one you will start without a gun you will know why when you see the end scene for this mission.

Bugs:Heading to the helicopter... if you open the door, the custom alarm goes off but doesn't turn off even if you abort the mission. Noticed: Helicopter is way too small for bond to fit in. At the beginning when you exit the first cabin you start in, *you know what happens*. Easy spot for armour gives full armor. (Cant win without it). I'm off to my 3rd try.

Still with the ammo you do not get much... and i Died on my first time. Mission Status: Killed In Action Objective A: Complete Objective B: Complete Objective C: Failed A lot of guards tend to appear after you destroy the Nitrus Exterminator. And after i got out of the cabin with the backup data... I got killed by a sniper as i was heading out.

in one of the cabins you can collect a lot of ammo for the pp7 and it is near the start it just means you have to collect it in the level but thas for the next level you won't even have a gun to start off XD.

I'm posting this at a relatives for they don't have the p64 so i cant play. I'll be sure to try this level tonight. I Go back in 2 days so i should have time to finish the level. I'll post back with any details and more. And plz, on your future lvls.. give more starting ammo.

Yes this is the finished article. I regret to inform everyone however that the next level will not be started for a while as i go back to School tomorrow. Next time i get some spare time however i will start it ;)
