So, how about extracting the level, upscaling it in a model editor then re adding it to PD. I would want to remap some of the textures anyway to make them sharper if possible, maybe a bit more clamping... these stages made to size would not need scaled. However, on scaling does this mean that PD stages are very large, i.e. 2m = 1m where as in GoldenEye 1cm = 1m Trev

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. If it was, believe me, we'd already be doing it. GoldenEye is able to scale its stages up, Perfect Dark cannot. Most of GE's stages are simply too small to play in, in fact Facility is the only level that actually needed to be scaled down. If this model scaling could be added to PD then we could probably port stages over, but a whole lot of PD still isn't well understood.

How were these levels done? Was it using the perfect dark setup editor? And extra levels you say? So that means you could in theory keep adding levels. This brings ideas closer to being true. I was thinking about doing the opposite to what some have done by importing goldeneye levels into perfect dark if ever an editor V2 came out... This would surly add some graphical advancments to GoldenEye - including my alternate soldier texture (duller green) Any ideas on this? Trev

The links are screwed up on the NEWS part, they are opposite links (Villa CS = Crash Site CS and vice versa)
