1. Description

This is a custom mission that takes place in the Severynaya Bunker Mission. It was created over the course of 2 weeks. The mission replaces Bunker 2, so you will need to use a gameshark code or the 21990 to enable all levels.

2. Archive

This archive should contain the following files:




The files in the individual directory are for use with the Goldeneye Setup Editor and can be ignored if you want to patch your ROM and play.

3. Patching

Patch SevBunker2.Xdelta to a US GoldenEye ROM in .z64 format with A IPS patching program or the Goldeneye Setup Editor. If the mod doesn't work your ROM is in the wrong format.

After patching, if you're using Project64, you'll need to change the game settings to get it running as good as the original. Right click on your ROM in the game list, or go to Options -> Settings -> Rom Settings while the game is running, and chose "Edit Game Settings." Change the settings to the following:

CPU core style: Recompiler
Self-modifying code Method: Change Memory & Cache
Memory Size: 4 MB
Advanced Block Linking: Off
Default Save type: Use First Used Save Type
Counter Factor: 2

Larger Compile Buffer Use TLB
Register caching
SP Hack

4. Bugs
On a few occasions, scientist sometime get lost on there route to escape. Running in circles on a wall. Shooting them in the foot usually resolves this and gets them back on path to escape.

What's been changed? There was a crashing issue on console that occured when a guard carrying a key would be killed. Updating the object bitflags corrected this problem. Also, edits to the text of the mission were made. Mostly with case, but some other adjustments for watch sizing and style, as well.

Well I finally did it on 00 Agent and I got it: First you have to kill as many single enemys as you can with the silenced pp7 (and in the room where glass brokes when you walk in and in the room where originally stands the safe ) - After that you can take the D5k and go to those rooms with red and blue lightnings. There you can shot around and no unlimited enemies will spawn there because they canīt "hear" you. After that you have to head over the cells. Just open the door very fast to get see by those 3 men and place a timed mine or grenade to the door. they will walk and booom they are dead. then you go the room where 2 mens are targeting at the scientist. Just shot one and wait until the other 2 or coming. beat the other enemies there (everything works well with ZmG or D5K) and finally head to the end. I got this after playing it around 40 times _:D

Thank you DFAnk1. My next upcoming mission is a sequel to this and these guards aren't as trained as the one's you have some how managed to defeat in the bunker mission.

Man this one is a really great and very difficult level. I canīt finished it on Secret Agent. You did a great work and I hope you will keep on making such great levels :d

Thanks for feedback! The only emulators I tested on were 1964 GE/PD edition and PJ64 1.6 and only 1964 was giving me little graphical issue.

I had a chance to play this mission and here is my feedback.
* Add hats/glasses to guards with armor. Right now it's impossible to tell unless you memorize each guard.
* Reduce the amount of spawn points for guards when they hear gun fire. The penalty for shooting one of the automatic guns is very high and the DD44 is just taunting the player to use, only to find out it's a death sentence.
* The guard with the key in the cell room, will soft lock the game when killed [or at least on this emulator] shootersforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=7045
* Have some description for the mission objective in the briefing. I had to play with cheats to know the details for the mission before I was confident to do it for real.
* Use this as a base ROM [temp link removed in 12 hours http://shoutkey.com/reef]

Overall I think it's a fantastic first mission and shows promise. Good work.

Good. I use to have the rom you referred to. But they don't provide n64 roms anymore. So had to get it from a different place.

What steps are you taking to patch the rom?

I cannot patch this level, please use GoldenEye 007 (U) [!].z64 instead of 007 - GoldenEye (USA).n64. 99% of patches hosted here use the former ROM as a base instead of 007 - GoldenEye (USA).n64.
