Files - PD Multi Levels - Perfect Dark Plus

NamePerfect Dark Plus
DateJune 15, 2017
CategoryPD Multi Levels
DescriptionMod Name: Perfect Dark +
Date of Release: June 15th, 2017
Base ROM: Perfect Dark NTSC v1.1

So what is Perfect Dark Plus? Well, it's the same great game you already know and love, but with some new additions to the Combat Simulator mode. To start with, everything is unlocked. Every character, level, weapon, music track, scenario, and option, is available for brand new agent files. You don't need to complete the mission campaign or challenges to open things up. This even includes the eight Classic weapons, which weren't originally accessible in Combat Simulator. Secondly, two extra Classic maps have been added to the game. Both the Stack and Caves have been modified to better fit the PD universe. Each has different textures, railings, and other adjustments to make them unique from their GoldenEye counterparts. Lastly, players (or Simulants) can now assume control of two bonus characters. Hover after your opponents as the artificial intelligence known as Dr. Caroll, or terrorize everyone in sight as a vicious Skedar warrior. To top it off, when playing in Counter-Operative mode, you'll no longer be forced to spawn as Mr. Blonde instead of a real Skedar when taking their place. Hopefully these things will add a bit more replay value to the game, and allow creative players to customize their own scenarios. And as one final addition, the standard version of Joanna as she appeared in the Japanese version of the game, can also be selected from the list of heads. It appears just prior to the regular Jo combat head, so scroll left to access it more quickly.

Wreck: Stack, Caves, Menu Mods, Classic Weapon fixes, etc.
Pavarini: Dr. Caroll and Skedar playable version and hands.
SubDrag: The Editor, which made it all possible.

"I am guessing you are playing on an emulator? You will either need to properly configure the ROM settings (PJ64 has details in the FAQ, Mupen needs the .ini configuration file updated), or you can enable controller paks to save / load files that way. Console should be able to save to your SD card."

Hey, quick question about this, how does one do that in mupen64plus?
It says its an unknown rom, and when it loads, nothing is unlocked at all.
I emailed you, about the question but decided in case you don't look at the email much, I had better post here too.
Can you tell me how to configure it in mupen64plus?

I am new to Patches and stuff so... How exactly do I get more than one patch to work with my Perfect Dark game? It seems that I am only able to add one patch per every new N64 Game Rom. Is this normal? I use xdeltaUI to add a Patch to a brand spanking new Perfect Dark Rom and it works like a charm. However... Once I try adding another Patch that simply adds a new level, it doesn't seem to want to connect. Is there something I am missing? I'd definitely appreciate any help or advice. I love Perfect Dark

Fantastic work!!

Having new maps to try is always a blast.

the x2 on the classic weapons just shows why you don't give automatics dual wield. everything dies in seconds.

You should of brought Archives instead of Caves in my opinion.

After patching and trying to get it to run in the 1964 60fps emulator i get an error about the controller pak. Help!

WOW ! No more precautions and dicking with emulation to run Skedar in combat sim ! Although I miss that silly glitch effect when the regular characters get hilarious animations tryna Skedar !

Dr. Caroll also amazing to be ! Cheers so much !!!

You're welcome for "no help", Retro King. I had pointed out which ROM to use, and a way to find it. I, nor SubDrag who runs this website, would upload a prepatched ROM and link it. There are FAQs here, and on YouTube, on how to patch Xdelta files. If you still want to be sore at me, that's fine. Enjoy the mod, as that is what matters most.

Whoever sent me that link thank you! Wreck, thanks a lot for no help.

Please send me an email for further instructions, because I'm not getting anywhere with getting this to work.

Where can I download the Perfect Dark NTSC v1.1 rom?

Posted by Wreck June 16, 2017 11:01 pm
In the description, you will see "Base ROM: Perfect Dark NTSC v1.1" listed. That's the correct one to use when applying the patch. PAL or JPN versions will not work, nor will NTSC v1.0.

Which Perfect Dark Rom should I use when applying the patch in the setup editor?
