DescriptionRey: Well the long awaited next level is finally complete. This level changed drastically. At first there were cameras but that was scrapped as sometimes they could see you over certain spots and the fact that it was kinda ridiculous. The placements were just to cruel. You also originally started with an unsilenced weapon. There are some portal glitches but that's due to changing the sky color. Towards the end it is recommended that you stand atop the door so that your not locked inside. You will know what I mean. Also the ending cinematic is just a little hint of the next level.

Ami: I'm so sorry. The level being delayed for so long is my fault. I was on the verge of finishing up my college classes and I had a lot of finals. Then Hurricane Irma hit both us and Puerto Rico.
My parents being worried how they were after Irma, so we went over there to check on things. Then as you know Maria hit. I had to stay there until things got better.

Unfinished map and infinite too much guards!

Posted by Psyqu1k December 11, 2017 12:10 pm
Very Solid level, without any of the problems mentioned above (with 1964 emulator) only a bit of lag in scientist warehouse.

10 out of 10 from me! (and maybe 4 custom levels deserve that score from me)

Keep up with that kind of creativity Rey, my favorite level from you :)

Mission very easy, make a harder level.

Posted by Graslu00 November 18, 2017 4:04 am
I didn't get too far into the level as it just softlocks close to the first grate door where the automatic guns are half the times. Didn't get much lag unless a lot of guards showed on screen so that may not be a problem for me.

This is a big issue for us that make videos for YouTube, as I don't like to and won't upload videos that lags at some place for the viewer's shake, plus it can be really annoying to be recording and have it softlock.
The visual distance is also really bad, you can have drone guns or snipers shooting at you when they're not even on your line of sight because they won't render. That shouldn't be acceptable.

I'll wait for an updated version of this one before I try to record it.

@MultiplayerX I believe that the respawn exaggeration is purposeful. It is as if it were a punishment. But it is bad also, since it removes the possibility to use other weapons. Since it is very difficult to defend yourself that way. Get stuck only in the Silenced is kind of boring even.

Posted by _mistico_ November 17, 2017 4:43 pm
Then the face in question of the lag really the stage is bad. But on the question of the functionality of her @MultiplayerX I not bad I thought. Face the missions of it have always been like that. If you keep getting the bullet made a desperate you are going to die. Most of the stages it is so. If so I'm a terrible player, because I've always been a fearful and cowardly to pass its stages. But I respect you. Some things have been bad yes. The respawn is as if it were a punishment for not playing right. If you play wrong is certain death.

Posted by _mistico_ November 17, 2017 4:27 pm
But either way I liked the stage because I don't do missions and it is very difficult to do missions, so it's not up to me to throb. I found a quiet stage, but also challenging as it has always been the missions of the Rey. It is only not to despair and not to be using other weapons. Be cowardly and wait for the guards to come up to you, for you to kill all. Stay in a place well hidden and wait for them to come.

Posted by MultiplayerX November 17, 2017 4:26 pm
If you have to rely on exploiting the AI just to complete the level, then isn't that a sign of a bad level?

Posted by _mistico_ November 17, 2017 4:19 pm

The mission is very slow yes. But with an emulator right and with a computer with settings that are acceptable will work quiet. He actually did a mission very slow. I played this mission on 00 Agent. I used the Silenced, and I was camper, just waiting for the guards to me, to attack, to kill everyone. I was not invading the area of the guards and trading shots like a madman. Must have patience and be a little coward to kill the guards. I did this and it worked. The mission really is not very good, because of the slowness and have unnecessary elements.

@RoogerMooreSucks I agree with you in parts. Actually Rey has a habit of putting guards with armour excessive and guards who shoot non-stop, with the crosshair over the top, behind the metal boxes. He puts a lot of fog in the stages. But this is his style of making the stages. What happens is that this stage doesn't have any of that. The armors are normal and do not have guards with the crosshair hacked. But it has many guards and Machine Guns in strategic places, that catch of slight surprise. On the question of the lag, that's really stage you're too slow.

Even if you use 'stealth', the level should be designed to not softlock when you have 20 guards on screen because Rey/Ami didn't use block 0005.

But this is only part of a larger issue of custom levels. Nobody here understand what it takes to make a good GE level. They all have terrible guard placement, too much armor, stuffed with cringe worthy lore or vague objectives that leave you running around the level.

If this is the standards of a 'featured level', then expect the site to die within the next 3 years.

Folks this stage is very easy! It is only you playing with the Silenced PP7 that you win in a peace of mind. Do not use other weapons, this stage has to play in Stealth mode. Take advantage of as well, since it is rare for the Rey, and the Ami to make the mission easy as that. I used the Carnivorous in one computer i5 2.80 Ghz and it ran quiet.

I like the direction you're going with the level, but the performance is detrimental to the experience. There needs to be a change somewhere, because it drops to unplayable performance 90% of the level.

Posted by MultiplayerX November 15, 2017 11:53 pm
Rey: Stealth is a terrible excuse for poor guard placement, and as for the performance this is running at 20fps with an overclock of 18 times. No level should run this bad. Remove the clutter, unimportant props and optimize your guard placement so there is some resembelance of flow. Not like this: https://i.imgur.com/9erBWhX.png

Looks like I'm not the only one having issues. This level's really laggy for me too.

Posted by Rey November 15, 2017 1:46 pm
Well the level only lags at the big room for me. As for spam guard. It's just that your making to much noise. Be stealthy about it and it's a simply level.

Posted by Coockie1173 November 15, 2017 1:30 am
It is indeed a laggy level, with quite a lot off "d***" sentries behind sneaky corners, and a lot off guard spam. Even on agent its a living hell.

Posted by The Baron November 14, 2017 4:08 pm
For some reason this mod is very laggy on Mupen++. All the other custom levels I've played seem to work fine but this one bogs the emulator down big time. Any suggestions anyone?

very very hard

Posted by Retro King November 10, 2017 9:00 pm
This level is great, but it's really hard to complete it, since there are no objectives. I'll just wait until someone uploads it on YouTube, so I know how I can beat the mission.
