Do you mean import a new midi, or just swap to a different track? To swap track it's under level in 21990. To Import new music, it's in 21990 under Model tab there's a way to import midi.

OK remind me to double check each post on my phone. The auto-correct did that. I think I just meant the word "Oh". Yep I got 8 I'll post tonight! Try doing Dam without changing any text and see if it works first. Then try text. See where fails.

Can you try it without replacing text first, make sure just not wrong level digits. Obama also on dam delete intro swirl for some weird reason I think Rares crashes on own.

We've got a very frustrating problem: Dam: edited Ldam, edited Ltitle, changed the number of objectives to 1 in briefing editor, made level bare-bones: Crashes when the objectives should be displayed. tried to delete everything and start over, but same effect.

when i slowed the down the movement speed, it was allright, but still, it didn't fit in my story.

Honestly I don't see a problem with the fly by mode. Its speed really depends on the size of the level. But you can just do careful taps to get threw. Train wasent hard at all to get threw.

oh didn't knew that. Sorry, but i fear i am still skipping that level, also, it didn't fit well in my story. Maybe I release it later, but out of the story, if you see what i mean. Thanks for good hint Wreck!

Can't you set your movement speed in the preferences menu? I remember slowing mine down quite a bit, so I could better navigate through the levels. Definitely helps you to fine tune your placements.

Train mission will be skipped. Even with fly mode(thanks for that tip, though)navigation stays too brute, i couldn't get something in the coupes, i always moved past it. I will skip to statue park mission so.

You can use TimEh's fly mode, if you press tab, then you can use I think it's wasd and the mouse. For pauses you use cycle counters, there should be an example on the site of it. If you can't find it lemme know.

Hy SubDrag, i have 2 questions: -can you make the navigation less brute(like on train, it is almost impossible to navigate) -if i want to display a series of text, they go way to fast, how can i add a little pause between two display texts? Thanks ;p

Read up on action blocks/objectives, you can do all that. Sometimes it's helpful to see Rares too to see how did it.

Hmm, must be error in setup. Prob an infinite loop action block, did you check syntax? Control is "arec".

i have a very annoying problem: just when i only make bunker1 barebones, i change the start point and i change the briefing, my converted rom loads fine, briefing is modded too, when i hit start, it goes black-but then it says black. I am getting crazy of it!

You can increase the proximity. But the text should definitely go away when killed.

ok i received your example, thanks, but when i change the action block of the guard, it does nothing, just nothing.The guard does not display anything when in proximity, and he does not attacks like a normal guard. it displays the text when i kill him, but this text stays forever.

It should be in the tutorials, but basically you make a new action block for the guard, set the health, then jump to his normal action block in there.

okay i think i understand what you mean for ending a level in theory, but i can't get it practice. Action blocks are hard...But, actually, to what do you need to add that action block? i mean, do you need to add it to a preset, or does it works out of itself? p.s. Ending a level is just the only basic thing i need to learn...

Yep, ips is fine, or xdelta. Editor can do both. It generates a delta file between clean GE and new one.

OK, i solved the problem of the objectives, did something wrong indeed. I will try what you said for ending the level, but i can't guarantee that it will work, since i am still learning a lot of things. Another question, if i want to release a level, i need to make an ips patch, huh? Do i do that with the "generate ips patch" tool, or something else? I am planning to post some levels, maybe, depends on how much i spill my days with sleeping ;p

You use if within units of preset if want to do it that way. Or if entered room with preset. I don't know why crashing, it must be an error in action blocks, done check syntax?

okay, i found the action block that teaches you how to end a level. but now, my problem is, every time i complete my last objective, project 64 crashes, and so, i can't get the level to end..and there's something i don't understand. How do you put in the action block WHERE you want to end your level? for example, i want to let my level end on the place with the H. I already put a camera, but, how can i let it end at a prefined location?

Check the tutorials or wiki, def one on ending the level. You need to add subblocks to the objectives.

Check your objects, make sure text digits are right (they're part of setup, in the objectives page).

Your text digits need to be for stage you're replacing - you can't just use any ones. That's why crashing.

hey uh...every time i try to convert my level into the rom, it doenst wants to open:it crashes(the rom opens fine,the briefing is modded too, but when i hit start,it freezes)...and it can't be that i put to much objects in it,since i really didn't put much in it, just 5 objects and 2 guards somehting like that...isnt there another way rather than converting?and would you care to explain me, pesron that wants to help me?thanks

You have to do it by choosing a folder, so they all show in main window (before you start a ROM). Then right click on correct GE ROM and can change settings.
